A downloadable fantasy console for Windows and macOS

Thanks for checking out PQ93. I hope you enjoy it. At this point it's more of an exercise than a product, so I apologize for any rough edges it still has.

Other fantasy consoles inspired me to try to make one in Summer 2017. This is a fantasy console designed for making small games for game jams or as "code golf" style exercises.

Included in the program is a command shell, a code editor, a sprite editor, a sound effect editor, a (very basic) music sequencer, and a map editor.

You can share your game as a native executable using the bundled PQ93Player program, or you can export your game for the web using the export command.

The full README and API Reference are included in the download.

Install instructions

Download the .zip, extract it, and run the program. For usage instructions, see README.txt and REFERENCE.txt

For Mac users: I am not an Apple "verified" developer, so you will have to give PQ93 permission to run in System Preferences > Security after attempting to open it for the first time, then you must successfully navigate ~3 system dialogs to actually run it, then it should stop nagging you.
